Pacific Pearl Oyster Shell will promote strong egg shells and skeletal strength in poultry when added to their feed by giving them a source of calcium. These highly digestible shells are sized to increase solubility and availability in the digestive system. They are less dense than limestone and it stays longer in the gizzard ensuring a greater absorption of calcium. It will also reduce egg loss, extend the length of the lay cycle, reduce manure moisture and improve fly control. An ideal supplement that will help you get optimal production from your layers.

Compared to oystershell from the southeastern us coast, this shell is a more digestible type. Sized specifically for solubility, availability, and retention time in the gizzard. Use 3-5% of ration from start of production. Lay Shell Blend features a variation of shell sizes from 1/8 inch to 3/8 inch, blended together for a uniform shell mix.
