Vetsulin® (porcine insulin zinc suspension) is an injectable insulin suspension that reduces high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) in dogs and cats with diabetes mellitus. Controls glucose levels and lessens signs of diabetes. Starts working quickly, and is long-lasting. Shake to mix. Each ml contains 40 IU purified porcine insulin (35% amorphous and 65% crystalline), 0.08 mg zinc, 1.36 mg sodium acetate trihydrate, 7 mg sodium chloride, and 1 mg methylparaben.
